Butterflies and Bears!

It’s SPRING and changes are afoot!

First, we’ll sing and learn about the many-footed caterpillars as they make their big transformation into butterflies.  We’ll have cuddly, crawly, caterpillar finger-plays and sweeping, swooping, scarf-dancing fun as we change into butterflies!

Next, we’ll all go for a boisterous bear-hunt and wake them from their winter slumbers to find out what they see.  We’ll also try out a traditional Korean nursery rhyme, because every culture loves families of bears!

Why butterflies and bears together?  So we can explore the delightful colorful world of Eric Carle as our featured stories!

The summer music class schedule and summer session punch-cards will be released on May 1st.

Our schedule has resumed on Tuesdays from 10:00 – 10:45am.

We need EIGHT for a DATE! 
Is the roster looking light? Bring a guest on your card! Be sure to enter them on the schedule so we have space and instruments for all.

Classes are confirmed 24 hours in advance — look for the email before leaving home!

Once classes begin on Friday, enrollment will only be available on a month-to-month basis until the next block begins in June.

Covenant Preschool
Covenant Preschool’s After-School Music Program is on hiatus until the 2016-2017 school year.

Keep your ears open for announcements about my affordable, homegrown summer music program — last year it filled up FAST, and cards and classes will be in limited supply.

Summer sessions will begin after preschool lets out in May — days and locations to be announced!
It’s Texas Community Music Festival time!
Many of you know that I promote and co-host the annual Texas Community Music Festival at Central Market North.  This will be my sixth festival with the organization, and this time Ms. Kat’s Music & Movement will be an official sponsor!  Dates are April 15th – 24th, and I will certainly send full details and reminders in April communications.  🙂

I hope to complete another promotional set in a caregiver-and-child format, so please let me know if you’re interested in joining with your child, and I’ll give you more info about the model release paperwork.  (We’ll hold it on a weekend to accommodate busy schedules!)
