The 2017-2018 school year is wrapping up!

Just three weeks of classes left in the spring block,
and then it’s all concerts, all the time!
Plenty of occasions and places to see
a Ms. Kat’s Music show —
Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, summer kickoff of the
Libraries Rock! series, and favorite hangouts like
Live Oak Brewing Company, Cherrywood Coffeehouse,
and Stubbs Graceland Grocery!

There will be about a zillion opportunities
to see Ms. Kat this summer,
and I hope to include the Kat’s Pajamas
in a few of these appearances.

Another True Story! Some campground friends from the Kerrville Folk Festival relayed this funny tale of their sons’ adventures, and my crazy brain turned it into an earworm… and then a song!

No Ms. Kat children’s shows are scheduled for this month
as of May 1st, BUT you can bring your children to a
FREE and FAMILY-FRIENDLY concert with the
Austin Civic Wind Ensemble.
Look for me in the flute section! 

Spring 2018 Classes end on May 16th!

I’ve made a tough decision: For the first time in four years, I will be taking a hiatus from Bright Horizons for the entirety of the summer.

I’ll be focusing on backburnered projects — working in the music studio and on my next book — and refreshing some of my classroom curriculum.

Thank you so much for supporting music enrichment at Bright Horizons this school year. I hope to see you at some of my summer concerts!

The 2018-2019 school year schedule and registration will be announced by August 1st, so stay in tune!
