All Summer Sessions Begin!

I’m finalizing the rosters for our classes right now.
So glad to have music time with so many special friends!

Did you know? Ms. Kat’s Music offers PUBLIC caregiver-and-child format music & movement classes in the roomy, air-conditioned, and centrally located Northwest Recreation Center.

at Northwest Rec on Tuesdays. Note the time change!

Unfortunately, due to low registrations,
the NOON sessions are canceled.
There ARE a handful of open slots in some of our 11:15 classes,
so please add your name to the wait-list
if you’d like to join us on a drop-in basis!  🙂

Northwest Rec Center 
SUMMER SESSION REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. 

All 11:15 classes in June and July are confirmed and scheduled!
We will meet in a new space: the FITNESS room to the left of the entrance.  Passes are sold out and most schedules are FULL, but a few spaces remain open for drop-in visits. 

Drop-in/wait-list requests will be processed in the order they are received.  Please wait for a confirmation before you schedule your visit!
Bright Horizons Braker Lane 
Summer class registration is wrapping up, and classes begin on Friday! The summer session block will include June and July. We will break for August and resume the music program for the 2016-17 school year in September. Summer block tuition reflects the shortened schedule.

We ‘re looking at some schedule and policy changes taking us into the next school year that will make it much easier for busy parents (including me!) to keep track of enrollment, class schedules, and tuition.  Stay in tune!
Covenant Preschool
Goodbye now, goodbye now, the clock says we’re done….Ms. Kat’s Music & Movement will no longer be serving Covenant Preschool.  
Thank you for a wonderful four years of watching your children grow into confident, independent, and enthusiastic little musicians.

I’m glad I’ll see some Covenant friends over the summer as we beat the heat and the summertime boredom blues at Northwest Rec!

Oh, my Grammy’s come fer dinner, an’ my Pappy’s comin’, too!

 

I’ve long had a work-in-progress children’s book with my own illustrations to accompany my original song “Turducken.”  I’m hoping to roll that out for publication in time for Thanksgiving this year!

It’s a first for me, so if you have any contacts or insider advice in publishing, please share!  In the meantime, please enjoy this page I call “Chicken Studies.”  🙂
