From “A Christmas Story” — Yep, it’s almost that time of year again!
Hello to all my new, current, and former musical families!
I hope you’re keeping warm and enjoying your time together on this very gray and chilly Veterans Day. It’s hard to believe that it’s the middle of November already. Didn’t the school-year *just* start? My internal calendar doesn’t believe it, but when I think through all the themes we’ve already covered this year; Apples, Autumn, Pumpkins, Halloween, Turkeys, DINOvember… well, time is clearly slipping away!
There is just ONE week to go until the City of Austin’s Parks & Recreation Dept has a space available for the very FIRST open-to-the-public Ms. Kat’s Music & Movement classes!
Sessions will be held weekly on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am at the Northwest Rec Center located at 2913 Northland Dr, Austin, TX 78757. That’s right near Mopac@2222.
Class size is limited, so REGISTER today! The recommended age is 2-5 years.
I know that some of my readers are outside of Austin, are without preschoolers, or are enrolled in a childcare program on Tuesdays, but if you have friends or family with preschoolers in the area, please consider forwarding this information on to them! Neighborhood playgroups, new-to-Austin mamas, home-school groups, in-home care providers, grandparents…. All are welcome!
Classes are affordable, and there are no block schedules or long-term commitments. Purchase a 5-class or an 8-class pass, and you have six full months to use it! There’s a special deal (can you say “free?”) for infants and *scheduled* toddler siblings with a paid preschooler. You can even register as a one-time drop-in.
Click on a link for details about registration, scheduling, and how to buy your class-pass with PayPal.
FREE demo classes and more “Ms. Kat” concerts are in the works, so follow Ms. Kat’s Music here, on Facebook, or @MsKatsMusic on Twitter and be among the first to know!
We now return to our regular program. 😉
