My own wee ones, ages 4 and 15 months, on an autumn trip to the Northeast in 2010. We did a lot of leaf-crunching while exploring around Lily Lake, which reflected the most gorgeous autumn foliage. Then we ironed the prettiest leaves into wax paper. Do you remember that project from your childhood?
Texas doesn’t *quite* get the same show — certainly not until more toward December — but on cool days like today, we can certainly notice that a change is in the air.
